There are those rare occasions when I've found myself speechless. My mind would  search for just the right words, yet I didn't know what to say so I said nothing. Many of you have probably experienced the same at some time.

Yet it's not always a bad thing to say nothing. God has given us so many ways to communicate such as touch, smiles, a nod of the head, a hug, and expressive faces speak volumes. Then there are times when words just don't quite seem to be enough

When my heart feels as if it is breaking and a flurry of thoughts fill my mind, I have learned to slip away to the "secret place". I don't have to always be actively talking to my Heavenly Father. There are times when I worship just by sitting in his presence and allow him to speak to me. Other times I find that I must be still and wait on the Lord. Psalm 46:10 Our stillness allows God to be exalted.

I have moments of uncertainty, how or what should I pray? Yet, I am assured that provision has been made for me. Romans 8:26-27 encourages me with the promise "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

When the words seem to evade you, remember God knows your heart. We can pray in the Spirit and we can pray the word, but when words don't quite seem to be enough, just bask in his presence and worship.
